I have had Alopecia Universalis for nearly 25 years. With the good fortune of discovering Peggy Knight some 20 years ago, my excellent stylist, and permanent makeup, I have enjoyed all the activities and sports that anyone else would.
I have been married for 28 years and have 3 sons ages 24, 19 and 17. With the help of my family, my co-workers and friends, I have been able to accept this inconvenient and embarrassing condition. As a medical professional, I see so many ill people and know I am fortunate to only have a condition, not a disease.
